Position Description:

Fortune 500 organization is seeking a Temporary Senior Analyst for its premiere branded-portfolio of online, mobile and video-on-demand properties and March Madness Live.

The Temporary Senior Analyst will play a key role on a fast-paced team by helping provide analytics and strategic recommendations to business leads.

The ideal candidate for this position enjoys immersing themselves in data, finding insights and assisting with market research projects. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with web site tracking tools, digital media tactics, and analysis to inform optimization recommendations. S/he possesses the ability to substantiate recommendations with usability research, multivariate & A/B testing, competitive analysis and third party data. This person must be comfortable working on complex projects and enjoy partnering with diverse internal clients to enable them with great insights. This position supports several internal clients which include digital editorial, product development, design & user experience, web development, analytics implementation and executive teams.

Duties:

. Assist with quantitative and qualitative research to support digital initiatives such as content development, site satisfaction and usability, product development, and new business initiatives

. Collaborate with digital product managers, web operations, editorial and design & user experience to help execute optimization recommendations and measure the impact of these optimizations

. Assist with translating both qualitative and quantitative test results into actionable business insights

. Collaborate with the Digital Research team to develop reporting on cross-platform audience/traffic performance, incorporating relevant metrics from television and website measurement tools to tell a cohesive story

. Provide strategic reporting and site analytics within the business to identify and prioritize opportunities for audience growth, improved user experience, increased content consumption and effective partnerships

. Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting of Digital that includes overall KPIs but also addresses time specific initiatives and promotions and uncovers the key factors driving success.

Qualifications:

. 3+ years of digital analytics experience and possess an understanding of web analytics tools and methodologies

. Significant experience working with Omniture Site Catalyst. Experience working with Omniture Discover

preferred; Bango and Google Analytics a plus

. Experience with syndicated research products such as comScore Media Metrix or Nielsen/NetRatings suite of products preferred

. Proven track record of developing methods to collect and analyze data, harnessing findings and informing business leaders in the decision making process

. Hands on experience with data manipulation, database querying, and data analysis

. Ability to work creatively and collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to effectively implement, optimize and leverage Omniture solutions to meet business needs

. Solid background in the design and implementation of quantitative and/or qualitative research studies and analysis, directly supporting decisions about content and digital products a plus

. Very strong Excel skills. Bachelors Degree
