Enterprise Computing - AD - Red Hat - Windows - European Commission
For one of our projects at the European Institutions in Brussels, we are urgently looking for an Enterprise Computing Consultant.
Main tasks:
- Assists to the preparation, release and follow-up of functional enhancements.
- This will entail a variety of tasks, varying from analysing and understanding the technical implications of the requested functional enhancements as well as participating to their implementation, testing, documentation and follow-up.
- Assistance to the users will also be part of the duties in scope with a reduced focus and usually at second line level.
- The functions involve liaising with several teams of different nature (technical, communication, HR) as well as with stakeholders/users' groups.
For this role you need to have experience in:
- Enterprise computing environment (Active Directory, DNS, SMTP/POP3)
- RHEL 6+ (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and W2K8+ (Windows Server 2008) server environments
- Web and Application servers (IIS, Tomcat, Apache)
- Collaborative environments and tools (Jive, Sharepoint, Confluence)
- Knowledge of database/SQL reporting tools
- Knowledge of MS Office products regarding integration with add-ons / plugins
- Knowledge of mobile concepts and technologies (MDM, responsive design…)
Languages:
Fluent in English and French is an asset
