Description
My client is looking to build a team of experienced design and build engineers that can commission a new client environment across two data centres to a Vanilla build' and then to work with the client to optimise for operational use achieving steady state operational hand over by the end of June 2014.
Start date for this position will be 5th January
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven design & build of hosted environments using proprietary tools
- Delivered repeatable patterns and designs that have been deployed through the proprietary tools.
- Experience of creating robust technical and operational documentation
- Transitioned new builds to an existing operational team. (Includes knowledge transfer.)
- Provide evidence of recommendations derived from operational use to improve performance, able to demonstrate evidence of implemented design changes achieving change.
- Provide expert knowledge based on formal qualification and practical experience, and must have the ability to impact this knowledge to technical professionals.
- Proven knowledge of creating automated alerting across the platform.
- Knowledge of data centre quality assurance in commissioning and sign-off with experience of achieving acceptance criteria with an IBM program.
The candidate must possess the following skills:-
Professional Cisco certification gained over a working career, must have achieved expert in at least one relevant stream.
Extensive technology experience on:
- Cisco Works
- Blue Coat Packet shaper S500, Cisco ASA5525-X; ASA5585; Firewall; ASR1002 w/H/W encryption;
- Catalyst 2960s; 4900M, 4948; Cisco Nexus 5548P & 5548TP; Fort iGATE 100D & 1500D; Fortigate 100D, 1500D UTM
- SafeNet Keysecure K460 with NSE10 Key Manager
