Description
Identify, plan, and manage database project activities. Analyze and evaluate methods of improvement. Design, administer, install and monitor complex and/or critical software, databases, and database applications. Evaluation and selection of DBMS hardware and related software. Understand business requirements to create, revise, and maintain logical data models. Provide on-going physical database and database environment support. Reports to Leader Database Management.
SKILLS:
- 3 years recent experience with Oracle Database Administration v11 or higher database administration.
- 3 years recent experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration v2008 or higher database administration.
- 2 years recent experience working with Windows Server operating system.
- Bachelors Degree (Preferred) - Area of Study: Computer Science, Management Information System, Computer Engineering, or related degree
- Candidate MUST have experience with both SQL Server and Oracle.
