Your tasks:
- Definition of future LAN strategy
- Formulate network strategic objectives
- Conduct a network requirement analysis
- Assessment and recommendation of the future network operating model
- Develop a recommendation for the network contract scope (scope recommendation report)
- Network technology strategy
- Evaluate the three European enterprise network market leaders and advice on Capex, Opex, requirements match and risks with the different vendors
Your qualifications
- Knowledge of corporate network architecture (Datacenter, LAN, WAN, routing, switching)
- Knowledge about (future) networking technologies and benefits related to these implementation
- Deep knowledge of different Vendor product offering e.g. Cisco ACI
- Insights on technology maturity and implementation scenarios
- Experience on capacity calculation for corporate networks
- Ability to interact with operational network team as well as higher IT management to capture requirements and align with their expectation
- Experience in network requirement analysis and definition
- Experience in defining Networking (HW, SW services)
- Good understanding of European enterprise network market leaders and experience in defining vendor strategy
- Knowledge of Software-Defined Networking and related open standards
- Knowledge of Network virtualization
- Knowledge of Consolidation with virtual server platforms
- Knowledge of Data center network design: spine/leaf vs. campus network
