CRM Customer Insight Analyst - Banking - Cardiff - £445pdOur client, a retail bank, are currently looking for a CRM Analyst to hire on a long-term contract basis.
The successful candidate will support the development of CRM initiatives through the delivery of detailed customer insight analysis.
* Provide advanced analysis delivering solutions to complex business questions
* Ensure compliance with Group standards and reporting requirements and any relevant legislative or regulatory requirements
* Proactively develop and maintain working relationships with colleagues regarding business developments appropriate to own projects / area of specialisation
Specific Skill sets:
* Previous experience of data analytics focused on data mining techniques such as: propensity/response/regression models, correlation, clustering/segmentation, decision trees/chaid models etc.
* Previous experience of base SAS or SAS EG, with experience of SAS Enterprise Miner desirable but not essential. If applicant has no experience of SAS packages directly then other equivalent statistical packages such as SPSS are acceptable.
* Experience of data analytics within a customer focused department such as CVM/CRM/Credit Risk etc
* SQL - to a high level
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint / Word/Excel essential)
* Excellent understanding of concepts of relational databases
* Experience of design and development of reporting
* Ability to interpret trends in data
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Work independently with minimal supervision
Desirable but not essential:
* Understanding of the Motor Finance market
