VHDL/ FPGA Electronic Engineer

Role: Electronics Engineer

Location: Guildford

Rate: £35 - £42 depending on experience

Duration: 6 months

I am seeking an experienced electronics engineer to work for a market leading company.

You will be designing and implementing a PCIe and sRIO structure for interconnecting the next generation of spacecraft avionics
The designs will be implemented with the Microsemi Libero SoC version 11.3 tool chain.
In addition to this you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of a legacy satellite on-board computer system, dealing with obsolete components, ITAR issues and radiation performance of the system's components.

Skill set required:

* High speed DAC and ADC implementation
* EPLD & FPGA, VHDL and Xilinx
* High-speed logic circuit designs
* Low noise analogue circuit design
* Switched mode power supplies and power electronics circuit design.
* Schematic capture with Orcad CIS, Schematic capture with Altium.
* EMC compliance testing.
