Description

Will support technology requirements domestic and international, Customer or dealer simulation schools and/or Regional Learning Centers, applications for PC use, hardware and software application for class room use, mobile learning products, technical learning vehicles/mechanisms and overall system performance and enhancements.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the development of training systems interaction in a class room environment along with technological execution and stability for training courses at internal and/or external locations as required.
2. Maintains Training Technology Project Plan. Ensures planning and research standards are commensurate with assigned projects.
3. Updates the training staffs equipment with the current version of the software release and ensures release is usable by trainer which may be remotely located. Ensures new staff equipment is operating effectively in support of training development and instructional design efforts.
4. Builds and maintains Servers needed to support Customer or Dealer Simulation Schools or demonstration center requirements.
5. Helps develop and execute technology strategy for department. Helps identify technology for potential use in training arena such as Mobile Technology, video, etc.
6. Identifies section requirements for data storage and usage along with server and/or other hardware requirements to meet global training needs.
7. Coordinates and interacts with Customer dealer, subsidiary and customer training departments to determine machine needs for field schools, classroom and equipment needs and communicates with instructors on job related technical issues.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Windows server (preferable 2008 and up), VMWare, Application support -Client Server based, LAN, WAN networking, Remote access support, Experience supporting people from a remote location.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a college degree or equivalent IT experience. Must have extensive product knowledge/experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, multitasking and strong project management skills, able to work with minimum supervision and be proficient in state-of-the art design capabilities. Experience in training and/or Mobile Learning Technology a plus. Would be helpful to know: Citrix and Oracle. Knowledge in software installations and Servers A Plus. Must be local. Travel required.
