Support the Customer Operations Business Unit with the goal to become a top performer in the nation in customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will start by learning the application support for the architectural drawing applications and its associated business logic, then they would work with various technologies to develop solid business solutions including the replacement of Legacy applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the current drafting applications, and related applications.
  • Design, code, test, and support enhancements to these applications.
  • Work with internal clients and deliver technical solutions.
  • Work closely with software vendors, other application developers, database administrators, and OS administrators to implement changes.
  • Software configuration.
  • Software upgrades.
  • Technical documentation.
  • Project management.
  • Work with existing staff to acquire the necessary skills to support the application or the application's architecture.
  • On-call support will be required on a rotating basis.
SKILLS:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Experience or training in SQL and relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, and must be familiar with Visual Studio, .NET C#, and JavaScript.
  • Proven record of developing code with long-term and short-term architecture and standards in mind.

Required Skills:
  • Proven track record with specific examples of being an independent and quick learner.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients and internal IT resources to find solutions which meet the business need, and which are effective, accurate, and maintainable.
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal guidance, as well as in team settings.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office.
