Title: Systems Admin
Location: Suwanee, GA
Salary: $60-75k
This is a tier II level role -- Must be flexible in working nights and weekends
Shift options:
2nd shift is 4PM- 11PM Sunday - Thursday
3rd shift is 11PM-7AM or 10PM - 8AM Tues - Sat.
Our client in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Systems Admin for an exciting opportunity. This position is responsible for working with the NOC engineers to help reduce Incident Resolution time-frames and increase Customer Experience within the Cloud Support Organization
QUALIFICATIONS
Solid understanding of essential TCP/IP protocols
Firm understanding of fundamental concepts of Operating Systems and system components
Firm understanding and experience using OS systems tools, commands, utilities, monitoring applications, diagnostic tools, configuration management tools, and performance analysis tools
Firm understanding of fundamental hardware concepts
Windows 2003, 2008 and 2012 in a production environment
Windows 2008 and 2012 Clustering Administration, SQL Clustering Administration
Experience supporting and deploying Dell, IBM, or Cisco UCS blade server hardware
Any experience in Linux Redhat, Citrix and supporting a plus
Experience working with distributed, complex enterprise deployments
Hands on experience with VMware ESX, ESXi/vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, DRS, vCloud, and/or additional virtualization technologies and concepts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
Experience with Virtualization platforms (VMware)
Experience configuring and supporting server systems
Networking knowledge, core routing and switching (Cisco)
