Description
SQL Server DBA - Hull - £40,000 - £45,000SQL Server DBA needed for a role based in Hull.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years SQL server DBA experience. With a minimum of 2 years as a Production DBA.
Skill required:
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
- Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for SQL server
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems
- Experience in performance tuning and optimisation, using standard monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Knowledge of indexes, index management and statistics
- Working knowledge of SSIS/SSAS.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a larger team
- Understanding of Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
