Senior Business Controller
Senior Business Controller required by leading global retail company to provide vital financial status and performance information to the IT delivery department and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- ensuring correct financial and performance information is available when needed
- preparing and providing standard and ad hoc financial and performance reporting in both functional and service dimensions to stakeholders
- collecting, analysing and discussing financial figures and performance with financial controllers, business navigators and the line organization
securing that analytical tools are available for producing reports, including consolidation and analysis
- supporting IT Delivery department to forecast, budget and the goal setting process within the assigned area
- providing support and training in controlling and financial matters to relevant stakeholders in the IT Delivery department
- establishing efficient routines within controlling
- initiating and leading improvements of working methods and processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in accounting/controlling or equivalent
- at least 3 years' experience in controlling/accounting area
- extensive knowledge of controlling methodology
- excellent Excel skills
- understanding the profit and loss structure
- ability to handle large amount of financial data, and analysis on a detailed level and structure data in an efficient way
- knowledge in the Microsoft Office package, financial and controlling systems
- experience producing forecasts and handling big amounts of financial data
- experience from big organizations and ability to stand up for the cause and the delivery
- knowledge of general IT
- fluency in written and spoken English
