Mechanical Engineer
Location: Venlo
Duration: 3 months (with option of extension)
Languages: Dutch/English
Your main tasks are:
In the project, conceptual designs of the printhead have been made. Rough 3D sketches are ready. These drawings have to be detailed in Creo Elements Direct Modelling with respect to manufacturing technology (mainly machining) and 2D drawings have to be made.
Goal is to order parts at LW (labwerkplaats) or outsourcing via LW.
Discussion with Designers about functional requirements and with LW about makeability. Find balance in construction.
You need to have the following professional skills:
Proficiency in Creo Elements and Annotation
Knowledge of (im)possibilities of manufacturing technologies:mainly machining but possibly also sheet metal and/or additive manufacturing.
Able to transform rough 3D sketches into documentation resulting in functioning and manufacturable parts.
The following experience is a pre: proficiency in Modelmanager and procedures LW.
Do you have the foolwing behavioral skills:
Fluent in Dutch and/or English language
Good communication skills
Affinity with constructions in the field of heat and flow is a pre.
