Description
We are looking for a GIS Developer to work at our multinational client in Stockholm/Sweden.
Expected tasks and deliverables by the Consultant
- Develop Web GIS applications on SharePoint 2010;
- Design and implement integration of technological components;
- Adapt the existing code, removal or replacement of components;
- Identify functional/logic views for software development;
- Design and application of Test Cases to deliver the software;
- Write technical documentation;
- Assist with the designs and implementation of the GIS applications architectur;
- Identify the cause of bugs, document and develop long term solutions;
- Provide support and application maintenance;
Educational and experience
- University degree with minimum 4 years of experience in IT
- Minimum 2 years of programming experience in GIS integration and development in .NET environment using ArcGIS Server and ESRI ArcGIS API for Silverlight;
- Good knowledge and experience on development with C# in .NET, Silverlight and MS SharePoint environments and proficiency with HTML, JavaScript;
- Good knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL and ESRI SDE);
- Experience in the development of web GIS applications in public health.
- Experience with agile software development (for instance, Scrum)
- Experience with development and publishing of geoprocessing services using ESRI Spatial analyst, Model Builder and Python
- Able to integrate in a multinational team
- Very good command of English, oral and written.
Advantageous at least one certification in
- ESRI Enterprise System Design Associate 10.1
- ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Associate 10.1
- ESRI Web Application Developer Associate 10
Candidates must have a passport of an EU member state or a valid work permit for Sweden
