Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is looking to fill a 6 month contract for a Marketing Manager within the Food Retail Sector.

Manage the delivery of agreed marketing programmes for the Food Retail Group which will enable Food to achieve its strategic aims, objectives and financial goals. The role demands that the colleague delivers, monitors and evaluates marketing campaigns within budget to support the overall strategy of the Food business in a way that maximises return on investment.

Other responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data, and implementing marketing plans using a broad marketing mix, including CRM and ecommerce, to increase profitable sales and customer retention.

However, occasionally situations may arise that require the post holder to perform other duties or tasks as may be reasonably requested by the company.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder shall:
* Be responsible for delivering the Food Marketing Strategy and be the gatekeeper within the Group
* Recommend dynamic and innovative suites of marketing campaigns to the Senior Retail Team for consideration. Execute campaigns within agreed timelines and budget once signed off.
* Liaise as appropriate with the central Marketing function to deliver Food campaigns, commissioning time and work as necessary.
* Review and analyse effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Making suitable recommendations for improvement. Proactively seek best in class marketing channels
* Be the owner of Food CRM, using it to build campaigns to exploit opportunities, reporting results to the Senior Retail Team.
* Proactively use customer and Member data and Demo/Geographic performance modelling to target opportunities.
* Be the main point of contact between the Food Group, independent marketing functions, external PR partners and marketing team.
* Be the internal liaison for all areas of Marketing and with creative agencies
