Description
I am looking for a Control Risk Manager to begin at a top-tier bank, supporting the business unit (1st Line of Defence) in ensuring controls across the BU are effective so that senior management are aware of control failures and action plans.
Further, you will support the Business Unit Conformance Officer (BUCO) through management of the BU Control Board or other relevant governance forums. You will be responsible for tracking and ensuring appropriate action of business unit risks; providing SME support to all business unit and functional teams with regards to policies, procedures, and regulation.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- An understanding of the appropriate policies and standards
- Deep subject knowledge of risk & control processes
- Extensive experience with diverse teams within a fast paced and transformational environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- Willingness to travel as required
- Excellent written communications skills
