Description
The Front End/SharePoint Developer will work with the Development team to provide first class technical support to clients and resellers.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of web development including experience with JavaScript as a primary development language, JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout or Angular and CSS skills on .NET framework. Development experience with SharePoint Online is highly preferred but not essential. She/he should also have strong communication skills and enthusiasm for rapid problem solving.
Key tasks:
Work on development of solutions under the direction of the appropriate tech lead
Enhance all products
Investigate causes of problems reported by clients and resellers and resolve issues
Liaise with the QA team about known issues
Advise on possible approaches to handle reported problems
Liaise with technical leads to identify the most suitable short and long term solutions
Participate in daily stand up meetings to keep the technical team updated on support issues
Liaise with the product manager about possible product enhancements suggested by issues raised
Contribute to long term product development
You will need to have

Strong internal communication skills
Ability to work with the technical leads, keeping them informed of any problems
Ability to work with other developers, sharing knowledge between peers and within the general workforce
Ability to work with the QA team to ensure a high quality solution
A proactive approach to work tasks, relying on initiative and a wider understanding of the project deliverables
Skills and experience sought
At least 2 years of solid development experience in SharePointSharePoint Online development experience would be an advantage
Experience of working with a .NET framework/environment and use of C#
Experience in HTML/CSS/XML
Experience in ASP.Net Web Forms
Experience with JavaScript as a primary development language, and JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout or Angular
Experience in Object Oriented Programming
Experience of Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
Experience working in an agile delivery methodology
Desirable
Experience of SharePoint online development
A Microsoft certification would be a plus
