Role: RAN Design EngineerLocation: Slough
Rate: £425-£450
I have an urgent need for a RAN Design Engineer to work within a major Telecoms company on a project to convert a number of microwave networks to fiber. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an internationally recognised telecoms company on a huge project with highly competitive rates.
The ideal candidate will have:
- RAN architecture - expert E2E understanding
- Nokia/NSN mobile core network systems and more specifically MSS, HLR, HSS and MGW's
- Nokia circuit switched core elements and associated interfaces
- Good knowledge of signalling protocols preferably including ISUP, SIP & BICC
- Experience of deployment of key network systems through the delivery life cycle from initial design to full operational handover
- Good understanding of R4 architecture combined with knowledge of LTE network and associated principles
