I am currently looking for a Niche Lead Project Manager with Financial services experience and Accounting knowledge
What does the role entail?
The successful candidate will report into the Programme Manager, and be responsible for the following:
- Lead, direct and manage a team of one Lead business analyst and three Business Analysts delivering analysis
- Planning of work packages to ensure that change is delivered on time and within budget.
- Raise of RFQ for Group IT and ensuring delivery of the extract within a timely manner
- Management and appropriate escalation of workstream Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies.
- Delivery of robust and appropriate solution design to ensure that required quality is maintained.
Core Skills
The successful candidate will have:
- A person who is able to draw on experience gained within the Accounting/banking industry
- Finance background/understanding of account structures and hierarchies including knowledge of general ledger systems such as SAP and Oracle
- Significant experience in implementing technical and operational change into a controlled environment, ideally a large FS organisation
- Strong background in programme governance and oversight.
- Experience managing projects delivered via a variety of development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
- Experience in embedding development and project management best practice.
- Line management experience of at least 4+ Analysts/Developers, across a number of phases/projects/work package.
- Sound knowledge/experience of all Microsoft Office Applications (Inc. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Project).
