Description
Oracle eBS Developer required for our Kildare based client for an immediate start.
Role and Responsibilities
- 5+ years experience as a Application Developer or Team Lead, with a proven track record in interfacing and/or data conversion roles
- Experience in an Oracle eBS environment, with technical experience of Oracle eBS APIs, Oracle eBS Open Interfaces, Oracle Middleware, Oracle J-Developer, Oracle ADI, Oracle Forms, HTML, Java, Oracle Application Server and Oracle Master Data Management
- Oracle PL/SQL developer experience, preferably with some SQL Server experience
- Functional knowledge of Oracle eBS Finance modules
- Technical or functional knowledge of Legacy systems including Sage, Maximo, Avante Epicor, EDI, and their associated technologies would be an advantage
- Experience in a range of interfacing approaches and technologies, particularly in Oracle eBS to non Oracle environments
- Experience in the full data conversion life cycle including data mapping, data cleansing, extraction, transformation, load and reconciliation
- Organisational skills and a methodical approach to planning is essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem solving skills focused on practical, cost-effective solutions
