Our client, a large financial services company, are currently recruiting for an MI Analyst to join a high functioning team based in Edinburgh.

This role requires the following experience:

  • Experience in Financial Services
  • Exceptional design and delivery skills (ability to gather requirements and turn into effective designs, and models)
  • Exceptional business analysis and reporting skills (review & improve existing processes, collect/mine/analyse and communicate complex data)
  • Experience working on MI systems/data warehouse
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of strategic analytical tools and techniques, including specifically strong SQL Server skills
  • Strong MI report creation and development skills
  • Strong documentation, presentation and communication skills
  • Proven track record in development and delivery of quality management information reports from multiple data sources to a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under minimal direct supervision

Candidates with the following skills/experience would be preferred:

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and data extraction/manipulation
  • Life and Pensions Operations MI knowledge
  • Knowledge of Pensions industry
