Senior Contracts Lead - Initial 3 month contractI am currently working alongside a brilliant NHS Organisation based in the South West of England who are looking for a Senior Contracts Lead to join their every growing team.
The Senior Contracts Lead will be for an initial 3 month period & paying between £500-£520 per day.
Day to day duties of the Senior Contracts Lead will include:
- Assisting on the negotiation of new & existing Community & Mental Health contracts
- Leading on negotiations where needed
- Making sure schedules are in place for meetings & all paperwork drawn up
- Pro-actively arrange meetings with suppliers
- Ensuring smooth day to day running of the contracts function
- Generally ensuring that there is always an active focus on delivering against the commissioning intentions
Requirements:
- Community & Mental Health NHS Contracts experience is essential
- Extremely high level of influencing skills are needed
- Experience of leading on contract negotiations
- Evidence of supporting a contracts function in order to achieve their goals
- Someone who uses their initiative & can work with little guidance
- An individual with real gravitas is needed
- A hands on contract manager who is not afraid to get hands dirty & influence other members of the team
