Description
I am looking for a Sourcing Manager to join a top financial services organisation based in London. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business. I apologise in advance if this role is not for you.Responsibilities-
He/she will assist in the execution of the global sourcing strategy specific category across the company's divisions worldwide, maintain deep category knowledge, oversee strategy, sourcing methodologies, primary point of contact and occasional lead for category and high dollar / high risk negotiations .
Core skills and experience required-
Understanding of market data and/or financial services software (ie bespoke business software)
Ability to set complex negotiation strategies and lead cross-functional teams
Organization skills including project management with a good track record of meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
Ability to build strong business partnerships both internally and externally
Qualifications
Undergraduate or Supply Chain Degree.
Advanced Degree / CIPS or equivalent preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing large complex projects.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of procurement and sourcing processes and practices for their category.
Demonstrated experience managing spend categories.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating successful results
Contract role- per day
