Compensation Analyst

Stamford, CT

15 Plus Month Contract----Opportunity to extend

Contractor will work closely with other compensation team members providing analytical and operational support for the Annual Compensation Process (ACP) and other global initiatives.

Major Areas of Accountability:
Provide support to Reward leadership and HR to manage annual compensation activities (salary review, bonus payments, etc.)
Collect, analyze and summarize compensation data to facilitate management decisions and support global activities.
Conduct research and compensation benchmarking; and provide advice to HR on functional matters and interpret Reward policies and practices (ensuring legal and regulatory compliance).
Ensure integrity of compensation data; initiate and facilitate data updates and fixes: submit change requests, liaise with our Comp Operations and HR Operations teams, system administrators and/or third party vendors, communicate status, and follow through with all involved parties until updates are completed or resolution is achieved.
Respond to compensation related inquiries and coordinate the dissemination of information.
Produce reports and assist with the preparation of executive summaries and presentations, and support the compensation team on day-to-day issues and special projects.

Knowledge and Skills

Bachelors' degree with minimum of 3 years of HR/compensation experience
General knowledge of HR functions or disciplines, and proficient with HR database queries (eg, PeopleSoft and Workday) - Experience with Workday is a definitely plus.
Experienced in compensation benchmarking and job evaluation.
Proven analytical and quantitative skills. Must be able to evaluate a variety of data, determine validity, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Detail oriented with a commitment to quality and ability to approach assignments strategically and manage to completion.
Team oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to work on many tasks concurrently.
Effective communicator at all levels. Must be customer service driven with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft business applications with advanced skills in Excel (must be proficient with pivot tables, V-look-ups, and other functions and formulas for data analysis and reporting).
Ability to research and handle professionally and discreetly extremely confidential information.
