Executive Compensation Assistant

One of our large investment banking clients is looking for an experienced Executive Compensation Assistant

Working in a specialist team within the Human Resource Function as subject matter experts in areas of deferred compensation and compensation planning

1.Assistant to the Global Executive Compensation Department here in London

*Role provides an excellent opportunity to gain a thorough understanding on Equity Plans operated by the Company and by our competitors and provides a framework for employee interaction and to provide subject matter expertise to client groups such as HR Business Partners, Financial Control, Treasury, Legal, Corporate Tax and Business Heads.
*Analytical skills are required to look at scenario modelling in respect of the Share Plan both at a corporate level and at employee level.
*Assist with the Dividend Equivalent Payment Process
*Preparation of calculations on deferred comp buyouts.
*Involvement in year-end bonus award process, particularly with regards to Transfer Year arrangements.
*Assist with the Global tax/securities law/legal review for the share plan.
*Assist with the management of the Group Share Plan and in looking at the tax implications of stock deliveries and option exercises.
*Over 10,000 employees who have awards under the Share Plan globally, the level of administration is extensive as it involves coordination Payroll, Corporate Tax, Deferred Compensation Accounting, Legal and Compliance to generate regulatory, legal, personal and corporate tax reporting.
*Assist with tax matters relating to compensation, including dual contracts, deferred compensation.
*Involvement in dealing with special office enquiries for senior employees and on company related issues.
*Involvement in projects centring on the design and implementation of special compensation arrangements internationally and in the UK.
*Will assist in providing advice to Senior Executive hires and terminations

Essential
Degree qualified
Strong Administration experience
Excellent attention to detail
Additional professional qualification
Experience working in a financial institution or similar
Prior experience in numerical based work
