Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a compliance professional to work for one of the world's leading insurers. The successful candidate will provide compliance advice to the business, participating in projects and going on monitoring visits across the Group, as the need arises. It is particularly important to this role that the successful candidate has an understanding of the practical implications of regulatory requirements (FCA and PRA), assessing regulatory risk and driving standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regulatory advice to our business that, whilst commercially attuned, ensures that outcomes are compliant.
- Build and develop significant working relationships with business managers and team members, gaining substantial knowledge of their business in order to influence and guide operations within the relevant compliance framework.
- To contribute and enhance the team's reputation as a centre of excellence and an authority on regulatory compliance issues and standards.
- To monitor changes in the regulatory requirements and respond to industry consultations.
Experience:
- Solid compliance background with a proven track record within the insurance space.
- Strong stakeholder management
- Thorough understanding of the practical implications of compliance on the insurance business
