Investment Analyst - Financial Services - Swindon.*£450-£500*

Role: Investment Analyst

Rate: £450 - £500

Duration: 6 months + Extensions

Location: Swindon

Essential Skills:

  • IMC Qualification (preferably also CFA)
  • Significant knowledge of the life insurance and investments industry
  • Extensive knowledge of investment markets
  • Extensive knowledge of fund management, preferably within a Life company environment
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (particularly Access and Excel) as the role entails extensive use of spreadsheets and data manipulation

Role Responsibilities:

Investment & Fund Management

  • Supporting operational activity with outsourced fund management
  • Supporting investment input to key stakeholders, including the Asset & Liability Management Investment Committee
  • Reviewing investment guidelines
  • Monitoring and review of investment performance
  • Supporting key management teams, such as Credit and Liquidity Risk forums
  • Supporting the investigation and implementation of investment strategies, such as hedging

Project Work

  • Experience of working in projects
  • Support project team members as required
  • Creation of project documentation
