2 Contract roles are available working within the mortgage credit risk team for a leading UK Bank.
Both roles are 6 month contracts
Project
The roles are to lead and deliver auto income verification for mortgage lending
It is a regulatory requirement that income is verified for all mortgage applications
The bank currently use a combination of manual process and internal data to validate income
The purpose of this project is to leverage external data from credit bureaus to use in the verification of income
The role will therefore be to
- Assess credit bureau data for its suitability in income verification
- Design a strategy for the usage of credit bureau data in income verification, the strategy must ensure that the data is used in a robust way that controls the risk to the bank and that
- Carry out credit risk analysis to assess associated risks and customer behaviours
Required Skill Set
- Strong SAS Skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to aid the business and define a strategy around that
- Credit Risk or related Background
- Self Sufficient and able to manage own workload
- Ability to work with data, to review and understand data that has not previously been analysed
- Problem Solving ability
