Description
Our client is looking for a Systems Analyst to join their team on contract for a period of 6 months. This role will be based in Perth CBD.
Key Accountabilities
- Document complex, detailed system specifications for proposed and existing systems
- You will develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements from gathered requirements.
- Define and document improvement recommendations
- Prepare detailed models and analysis artefacts defining business, information, technology and software.
- Analyse problems encountered in software development and guide the rectification of faults
- Work with the client's vendors and co-ordinate testing requirements to ensure delivery is achieved.
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience as a Systems Analyst in the Rail or logistics systems.
- Heavy focus on Supply Chain Systems, Data Feeds, Integration, Operational Data Stores, Business Warehouses, visualisations and reporting
- Background in the mining industry in particular experience and knowledge in mines, rail or ports.
- Ability to communicate and manage client expectations effectively.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
