EDI Analyst required to work in Weybridge on a 1 year fixed term contract with full benefits.

To assist the companies customers manage their co-operative relationships with their customers by the use of electronic data interfaces.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
(The 5 or 6 areas of the job against which performance is going to be measured together with the end result, if possible.)

Working in a team offering EDI and interface services to the companies Europe customers across the EMEA region.

1. Monitor the running of all of the EDI systems (TLE, BizManager and Axway).
2. Maintain all support calls within the confines of ITSM.
3. Communicate with customers, suppliers and third parties to resolve issues.
4. Maintain the EDI systems as required, for example ensuring certificates are updated.
5. Learn about EDI with a view to do EDI mapping changes.
6. Work shifts between 07:00 and 19:00 and occasional bank holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Qualified to at least the equivalent of GCSE level.
Confident & articulate.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Competent with tools such as Word, Excel, email and the Internet.
Logical thinker.
European Languages other than English would be an advantage.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

o Customer focussed, has the ability and desire to help the customer and understand their business needs.
o Must have some experience in at least one aspect of EDI. For example Integration (E.G ftp, AS/2, VAN), EDI standards (E.G. EDIFACT, ANSI, XML), knowledge of OTC or logistics business flows or Unix.
o Experience in specific areas (TLE, Bizmanager, Cyclone, mapping, SAP, PM) would be an advantage.
o Self-starter, able to identify what needs to be done and does it.
o Works well in a team, but able to work alone when required.
o Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels in the corporate environment.
o Knowledge of computer software packages.
o Have the flexibility to work in a multi-cultural environment.
