Mechanical Design Engineer CONTRACT - South West - 25 to 33 ph.An Amazing company in the South West of England specialising in Capital Equipment & Special Purpose Machinery Design & Manufacture are on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them on a contract basis from the end of January. The role will run for up to 6 months, and pay a very competitive rate.
Key Skills
- Strong Mechanical Design Background
- Great 3D CAD skills (ProE/Creo preferred, though others considered)
- Background in Capital Equipment, OEM or SPM design
- Must have a background in design of equipment with moving parts
- Ideally educated to Degree level or having relevant Engineering qualification
Role
- You'll be given the chance to get involved in the Design of very High Tech Machinery Design
- Interdepartmental liaison to clarify objectives, etc.
- Produce Designs/models
- Prototype design/build
- Meet timescales
- Testing
- Produce and maintain relevant documentation
- Attend Design review meetings
- You'll be based out of a modern, spacious site in the South West, in a very pleasant location
- You'll be working with an international company, working on niche, high-tech products at the forefront of the industry
- You'll be rewarded with a generous hourly rate of up to 33 per hour
