Workstream Lead - Tax - Investment Banking - London

A leading Investment Bank are looking for a Workstream Lead to work closely with the OECD & HMRC Operational Tax project manager to support the next phase of the Operational Tax programmes development and transition to a fully global programme.

Core accountabilities

  • As an active member of the OECD & HMRC Operational Tax project team, drive the delivery/benefit of the IB Tax Programme.
  • Lead key project meetings and working groups to understand, workflows, business needs, storyboards and creating the required user stories
  • Build a common understanding across a diverse stakeholder group of how the custodial account restructure and internal system integration can be delivered within an Agile framework
  • Work closely with the OECD & HMRC Operational Tax project manager to define, establish and operate a management and control framework that is fit for purpose. Clearly articulate the strategy for the custodial account restructure and internal system integration, translate that into a holistic delivery plan and drive the execution of that plan to completion
  • Build strong working relationships with technology partners to implement Operational Tax strategy
  • Create communication and reporting materials for multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Actively manage day-to-day activities and ensure delivery accountability is in place across the whole programme and stakeholder community

Role requirements

  • MUST have experience of working on a tax related project (eg. FATCA, EU FTT etc).
  • MUST have experience of working in Investment Banking.
  • MUST have experience of working in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of leading and delivering large scale, business change projects and/or broad experience in delivering corporate/Infrastructure change projects eg new products/markets, large scale industry regulatory initiatives
  • Experience with defining operating models (People, Process, Technology)
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence Operational and technology stakeholders
  • Collaborative style with ability to quickly build trust/credibility
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and own resolution of sticky problems
  • Excellent Requirement Gathering, Data Analysis and Analytical Skills

Location: London

Rate: £450 - £550 per day

Timeframe: ASAP
