Description
Facilities Manager, ideally with BIFM membership, required for 15 month contract with public sector organisation based in Edinburgh OR Glasgow.
The postholder will provide specialist Facilities Management service delivery and development skills in the provision of operational soft FM services for the company Edinburgh and Glasgow offices, following recent significant organisational changes with regards to the team structure and the workplace arrangements (ie estate rationalisation, office reconfiguration and technology updates).
Skills required:
- Professional membership of BIFM or equivalent relevant training and experience
- Foundation degree in FM or equivalent qualification with post grad experience (eg BIFM level certificate or diploma)
- Ability to develop, implement and monitor performance standards and report accordingly against SLAs (soft services and space utilisation)
- Specialist knowledge and practical experience of FM including business operations, business support, H&S, performance measurement, sustainability/environmental management and space utilisation
- Managing soft services across multi-site operation
- Experience of working in a management role within a soft service environment
- Leading the development of new policies, procedures and systems and implementation
- Experience of team building and development including in-house training, mentoring and coaching
- Managing Change
