Brief overview of the role:
Become a full member of the IT team in the IT & Automation department of the company
Your responsibilities:
- To Support existing Automation infrastructure (Network Switches, Router, wireless AP's, Firewalls, Server OS', Client OS', server & client hardware, cabling infrastructure etc )
- Documenting the automation infrastructure systems
- Troubleshoot issues/faults on automation infrastructure
- To support automation infrastructure projects
The Preferred candidate will have:
- Computer networking, switching and routing
- Ethernet networks
- Network cabling systems
- Windows Operating systems
- Windows Active Directory
- Server Architecture
- PC architecture
- Distributed control Systems/Programmable Logic Controllers
- Network/Server/OS/PC troubleshooting
- Cisco Hardware
- VB Scripting
- SQL
Requirements:
- 2-5 years experience in an IT position
- A Degree/Diploma in a computing or electronics (or related)
