Description
Multiple Systems Technicians are needed at the Italian office of an internatioanl IT company, to support various systems and hardware. Your experience should include Windows, VMware & virtualisation, MS Exchange and Active Directory. You must also be a fluent English speaker.System Technician duties:
. Provide maintenance and administration of the Servers and operating systems
. Help, maintain standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools
. Support the release process, including final testing and deployment of new server hardware, operating systems, directory service and messaging solutions
. Provide related technical documentation
. Problem identification and solution, especially within the data centres environment
. Mandatory shift work and stand-by services as part of extended 24/7 coverage
. Other duties as required
System Technician/System Analyst experience:
. You must be prepared to work as part of a 24/7 shift rota.
. 3 years of experience preferably in a datacentre environment
. Good technical knowledge of Windows, VMware and Linux Operating Systems (MS Windows , Vsphere, SLES and RHEL)
. MS Active Directory and MS Exchange experience
. Good knowledge of Virtualisation technology
. good technical knowledge of SCCM, SEP Antivirus, HPSIM is a bonus.
. HP hardware (BL/DL) and SAN EMC/HP technology experience
. General understanding of Local and Wide Area Network concepts
. Experience with DRBC solutions like VMware SRM is preferred
. Knowledge of Information Security
. ITIL knowledge is highly beneficial
. Microsoft certification is a bonus (MCSE)
. Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal)
. Knowledge of Italian and/or Spanish is desirable
