Integration Development Engineer - Warwick - £21/hr/Ltd
My client is an established organisation within the Automotive industry who currently have an opportunity for a Development Engineer to join them on a contract basis out of their offices in Warwick. The role is initially on a 3 months contract with a strong possibility of a longer term engagement.
The Driveline Controls team are responsible for the control of 4x4 system across all platforms within the business. The department is currently growing to meet the increasing complexity of 4x4 systems to meet the fuel economy and market leading performance requirements. The team is a diverse, dynamic and interesting working environment.
The Driveline Integration Development Engineer role is a practical role supporting the team with the following:
* Vehicle Test support
* Vehicle Preparation
* Vehicle Debug/Fault finding/Software updates
* Coordination of vehicle shipping
* Hardware in the Loop testing
* Performing electrical tests on a vehicle with oscilloscopes and other development tools
Skills:
* Solid understanding of electrical principles
* Appreciation of vehicle networks - CAN, CCP/XCP
* Appreciation of the integration challenges associated with complex electro-mechanical/electro-hydraulic systems
Desirable skills:
* Exposure to working with Real Time electrical/electronic systems
* Exposure of working with complex electro-mechanical/electro-hydraulic products
* Exposure of troubleshooting system issue on vehicle or on rig/HIL tools
