Great opportunity to join this global leader within Consulting Engineering to join their highly successful London team. They work with a range of clients, from International Governments through to major UK Commercial Developers and architects. Currently they are working on some major UK and International schemes that require further design input from a PH design perspectiveThe role is to be based from their new and professional offices near the City / Mid-town area. The engineer will be expected to work autonomously within a team helping deliver schemes within a multi-disciplined environment. Current schemes include a number of large luxury residential projects, Sports Stadia, Mass Transport and Underground Schemes as well as Commercial developments.
Key personal criteria:
Have a proven and demonstrable track record on multiple projects types and technical breadth.
Able to work using their own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of their discipline or have specific specialist experience applicable to the role.
Manage multiple projects in a clear concise and co-ordinated manner.
Working as part of a dedicated Public Health Team with engineers across the UK, this position is for a Senior level engineer who can bring both experience and technical expertise to the team.
Undertake the necessary statutory consultation processes for drainage guiding the clientfs strategies
Technical Requirements:
Key to this position is a detailed understanding of Public Health Engineering design within a consulting engineering environment including the following:
• Rain water attenuation systems
• Mains and Domestic water services
• Dry / wet risers
• Effluent treatment
• Gas systems
• Grey water
• Ground water removal, supply and use
• Legionella risk assessments
• Fire suppression systems
• Pump sizing
• Rain water disposal / Harvesting
• Refuse disposal
• Sanitary pipework
• Soakaways
• Vacuum drainage
• Water conservation
• Water treatment
Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to hand over projects to completion
Qualifications:
HNC in PH Design or Building Services or equivalent
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
