At Hays, we are always looking for great people on behalf of our clients. We are currently seeking a Scala Developer for one of the world's leading financial services firm.
Our client is in the process of moving from traditional application aligned software delivery methods to highly agile cross functional and component teams and they require a Scala Developer with experience working in an Agile environment to join the team.
The primary responsibilities of this role are writing requirements and specification (eg. automated tests), developing relationships across the technology and user communities. You will also be tasked with focusing on delivery of value using exceptional quality.
To be successful in this role, you will be coming from a background in modern OO language and at least 2 year's experience using Scala. You will have worked in an Agile environment and ideally have some exposure to Scrum as well as using design patterns and following best software engineering practices.
