Senior SAS Data Manager, SAS, SQL, Credit Risk, Management, BI, Data Warehousing, BI, decision science, data extraction, infrastructure team, Enterprise Guide, Base, Banking, Finance, Norwich, £.A leading banking client in Norwich urgently requires a SAS Consultant, to work on a 6-month rolling contract paying £ per day. Experience of Infrastructure/Development is required within a Banking environment.
The Role:
* Provide technical support services for Credit Risk BI systems and end user computing tools.
* Manage a small team of Junior to mid-level Data Managers and Developers
* Provide data extracts and monthly batch processes to support Credit Risk Infrastructure, using SAS and SQL.
* Work within a controlled implementation framework to make changes to key data assets and risk systems.
* Provide technical data extraction and manipulation capability to support the Credit Risk Decision Science team. SAS /SQL and data extraction/manipulation skills a pre-requisite.
* Manage the stakeholder relationships between DS&I and its customers.
The successful SAS Consultant will meet the following requirements:
* Strong experience of SAS and SQL data extraction and manipulation.
* A good understanding of SAS or SQL Data Warehouses
* Proven track of delivery of data management projects and data support provision.
* Excellent communication skills - effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
