An exciting project has come up in a Retail company based in London.9 month contract with possibility of extension
The project will involve working in a team of 4 migrating files/folders from an old file system to a new CIFS / DFS Managed system. You will be involved in migrations in all 9 distribution centres.
Essential skills:
- 1st/2nd Line Support experience
- NTFS experience
- Good communication skills
You will need to have strong communication skills & have great attention to detail. This role will require working out of hours so the successful candidate must be flexible.
In terms of timescales I have the following:
- January interviews
- February start and get up to speed / reporting on the existing file system
- March looking at the strategy and migration process, with one pilot department
- April-September full migration of all file systems to the new structure
