My client are actively seeking an IT Support contractor / Systems Administrator to join the team based in Feltham.A rough breakdown of the credentials in which my client are seeking predominantly include:
- MCP, MCITP & MSCE (Microsoft Certifications)
- Windows Systems Admin (Windows Server 2003, 2008r2 & Windows 7
- Experience administering virtualised server farms - VMWare, Microsoft System Centre;
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects for securing systems
- Experience of administering databases - SQL Server or Oracle
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Windows Deployment Services (WDS) for the preparation and deployment of upgrades
- Experience around 2nd/3rd Line technical support to user bases
This role requires a strong/confident candidate who can demonstrate task leadership, good attention to detail, someone who is able to work well under pressure and within timescales. The candidate must be well organised as well as the ability to communicate well in verbal, written and presentational forms
