Role: Compliance Monitoring ConsultantLocation: North West England
Duration: 3-6 months
Rate: £350-£450/day
Description:
- Oversee and monitor key Regulatory risks, including Conduct Risk
- Oversee remediation of control weaknesses relating to Regulatory Risk, ensuring that these are set up and resourced appropriately and tracked to conclusion
- Oversee and monitor the risks within the business regarding new and existing products and ensure these risks are managed in line with risk appetite and policy and evidenced through appropriate MI and reporting
- Report any identified control failures and breaches of policies within Regulatory Risk's control framework to enable them to be reviewed and reported, and that appropriate action to bring risk exposures back in line with appetite and report where this is the case;
- Undertake the assessment of the effectiveness of compliance and risk management activity across the business and recommend necessary changes;
- To maintain an understanding of the business requirements to ensure an appropriate and best practice monitoring plan is in place, aligned to the overall strategic plan and Regulatory Risk appetite
I am looking for candidates with the following experience:
- Experienced compliance consultant with extensive experience working within the UK Financial Services sector
- Must have in-depth, up-to-date understanding of General Insurance regulatory risk, including conduct risk
- Must have previous track record of successful delivery within a Compliance Monitoring role
- Must be able to provide high quality, practicle, pragmatic advice on the interpretation and impact of regulatory requirements
- Must be able to build strong relationships
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication
