C# Web Developer / Mobile Developer - West Cheshire - Up to £300/day - 6 month contract - Immediate startOne of my clients, a leading manufacturing client in West Cheshire, are looking for a .Net Developer / C# Developer / Web Developer / Mobile Developer, to work on a number of different projects including a Greenfield applications for a 6 month contract with likely extensions.
Though there are a number of projects that will need doing, the key one is a brand new Greenfield project, displaying critical manufacturing information on a touch screen device (tablet/phone/PDA etc). Firstly a proof of concept will need to be done followed by the development of this application. They are open to talks around which technologies to use for it so someone with experience working on similar projects would be a real benefit.
The ideal C# Web Developer / Mobile Developer will have experiences in the following areas:
- C# middle tier development
- ASP.Net and MVC
- JavaScript - both native and frameworks
- Web Services and WCF
- HTML and CSS (ideally HTML5 and CSS3)
- Experience working with mobile and touch screen applications (PDAs, Phones, Tablets, touch screen computers etc)
- Experience mentoring other people, more junior people
- Business Analyst experience or at least the ability to understand and deal with stake holders
Not all of these are absolutely essential and I would be keen to hear from people with as much of these as possible.
The right C# Web Developer will also be someone with a business brain that can come up with new ideas, suggestions, and options to any development needs. Working as part of a team, communication is key as well as experience working to Agile approaches.
The role is likely to last for a lot longer than the original 6 months, and they are looking to pay up to £300/day depending on the skills and experience.
Interviews are happening at the end of this week with a Tuesday start, though they can wait a week for the right person if needs be.
