I am looking for a leading software/systems engineer to work on a cutting edge project in the Aerospace industry. You will be working in a small and very specialised team on an innovative Aerospace project that will push the boundaries of communications on Aircraft. Existing contractors have informed of a pleasant working environment where complex challenges involving the latest technologies are incurred on a daily basis. This is a not a project for a contractor looking to pick up an easy role; your technical knowledge will be substantially stretched and you will be required to be a committed member of team as an extension is highly likely.
It is essential that candidates have an in-depth understanding of the OSI 7 layer model. Experience of layers 1-4 is most preferred. Candidates must be highly skilled in wireless technologies and must understand the implications of satellite focused communications. In addition expert knowledge of IP based protocols is also essential.
