Compliance Analyst - Finance (SOX) - Wokingham - 6 - 12 Month contract
Our client is currently recruiting for a SOX Compliance Analyst to join their finance team. As a SOX Compliance Analyst you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring strong, efficient and adequate internal controls environment across 20 management companies.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining and update SOX documentation DCMs (Document Control Matrix), SoP (Standard Operating Procedures)
Performing ad-hoc reviews of key SOX control documentation
Providing and facilitate SOX trainings
Assisting on process improvement projects, in accordance with Corporate guidelines, train staff and update SoP accordingly
Coordinating Audit Questionnaires, SOX certification process, MRC Audits (as main SOX point of contact for Audits)
Managing SOX Repository (SharePoint Site) - User access management; Site updates
Assist in performing SAP System access reviews; Cross system reviews; identify potential segregation of duties issues and suggest corrective action plans
To be considered for this position you will:
Be a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA -preferably ACCA) with Post qualification audit experience
Have SOX Compliance experience
Be able to articulate and influence stakeholders/business partners
Competent in Microsoft Office - Advance Excel, Windows, Power-point
Ideally you will have a good understanding of SAP, especially SAP System access management however this is not essential
