My client, a leading financial services company, is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to come on board and help develop and initiate new payment strategies as well as undertake any major project initiatives.

Responsibilities:

*Understand interfaces and timings, historic issues and proposals to improve them.
*Understand the accounting feeds, external payment feeds and feeds from redress/compensation calculation.
*Be involved in the building and planning of the payments solution.
*Provide analytical and reporting capability to the team.
*Provide support and detailed review and documentation of the requirements, design, build, testing and implementation.
*Support the production of valid MI and reporting to support the project and the team.
*Detailed review of the project, its deliverables and timeline.
*Review and challenge of the test results, presenting of evidence, producing supporting documentation and support sign off.
*Review and challenge of the implementation plan.
*Identify or propose other potential 'tag on' activity to be considered to deliver greater efficiency, effectiveness and benefits.
*Develop, support and build current and on-going MI to review and track performance, highlight KPI's and key variables for the project.
*Track progress of the project delivery and liaise closely with the Change Team.
*Support the completion of project and change documentation to required standards and ensure any changes are communicated and logged
*Communicate clearly and effectively to embed business objectives, take ownership of delivery and being an advocate of the businesses values
*Take logical and reasoned business decisions to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

*Knowledge of the FCA/PRA regulatory framework relating to complaints.
*Experience and delivery of analysis and reporting and the interrogation and manipulation of data.
*Knowledge of accounting ledger and interfacing with the operational systems.
*Some knowledge of operations and payments processes and systems.
*Knowledge of the concept of 'treating Customers Fairly'
*Accountancy qualification and experience.
