Security Analyst/Engineer: CISSP, GIAC, Risk, Security, SOC
My client, a world renowned global organisation based in Prague is seeking a System Engineer/Security Analyst with around 6 years experience in a technical Security role. The successful candidate will determine and categorize security events and alerts, route security incidents to IT or Business Units according to pre-defined workflows and manage risk (threats, vulnerabilities, impact) in the IT Security Operations Center according to policies and agreed targets.
Skills required for the role are as follows:
*BA or BS or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Management
*At least 6 years of IT experience in a technical role
*Certifications such as CISSP, Certified Intrusion Analyst (GIAC), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) preferred
*Understanding of possible attack activities such as network probing/scanning, DDOS, malicious code activity, etc.
*Good understanding of IT best practices or ITIL foundation certification
*Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
*Excellent oral and written communication skills
