Role: Patient Safety ManagerRate: £260 - £300 per day
Location: London
Start Date: ASAP (30th Jan latest)
Length: 3 months
A large healthcare organisation is currently seeking a very capable individual to work within the Governance team assisting with all aspects of Patient Safety for 3 months within the Trust.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the strategic and operational delivery of the Patient Safety Agenda
- Overseeing the delivery and development of effective reporting in terms of patient safety within the Trust, bringing them to the highest level.
- Promoting quality improvement by undertaking clinical review of incidents
- Identifying incident trends and promoting future service delivery
- Managing the Serious Incident process including the reporting of Serious Incidents
- Stabilising the team
The successful applicant will have:
- Highly developed specialist clinical patient safety knowledge underpinned by theory and experience
- Excellent knowledge and proven ability to manage clinical risk including good understanding of root cause analysis and investigation
- Experience of DATIX & STEIS
- Strong attention to detail
