I am currently recruiting for two similar projects for a well known, established organisation based in Bath. The client is known for providing exceptional safety critical systems for a variety of Industries. Whilst the contracts are for 6 months initially there is a very high chance of extension for the right candidate(s).
Various positions are available (software engineers & testers) however we would prefer people who are flexible and can carry out different roles. The implementation language is mainly SPARK and Ada with some C. The tests are completed using Python. Candidates must have experience with embedded systems and any in depth experience of advances Mathematics would be very helpful.
Whilst experience with SPARK would be the preference, experience with Ada would suffice.

Fundamentally, we need people with strong mathematical skills and an ability to understand complex systems quickly. ISTQB qualification would be good as this uses the same V&V terminology that we use.
