Sharepoint Analyst required for a 6 + month contract based in Melbourne CBD who has a current drivers license and is able to do some travel to regional locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders - in particular the SharePoint User Group - to understand and document current and likely future business enterprise content management requirements - including a key focus on the design, documentation, development and execution of initiatives to industry best practice to improve user adoption
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and document approved enterprise solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2013, .NET Framework, ASP.NET and other technologies and components as agreed;
  • Provide advice to the business and seek opportunities to streamline enterprise processes with innovative SharePoint-based solution;
  • Prepare and deliver individual mentoring and group training activities and initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Administer the Microsoft SharePoint Server Farm and provide third level technical and functional support to the business;
  • Provide project updates to, and respond to enquiries from the SharePoint User Group, the IT Manager and the IT Steering Committee;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business, change and project management processes and systems to ensure effective and timely delivery of outcomes

Skills and Experience required to be considered in this role:

  • A minimum of five (5) years' experience working as a SharePoint Analyst or SharePoint Developer - with demonstrable experience delivering major Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or Microsoft SharePoint 2013 initiatives within the past two (2) years.
  • Demonstrable experience in the design, development, customisation, integration, configuration and administration of enterprise solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or Microsoft SharePoint 2013.
  • Demonstrable experience designing, documenting, implementing, and monitoring complex content migration projects.
  • Detailed administration and technical knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and its features.
  • Demonstrable experience designing and delivering training and mentoring activities and initiatives to technical and non technical audiences.
  • Demonstrable experience (highly proficient) in the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft InfoPath, Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010, Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2/2012 and Microsoft Visio 2010 or later.
  • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2013, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and above to deliver solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or 2013.
  • Experience with CAML, XML and XPATH, C#, .NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, PowerShell, REST and Web Services essential.
  • Experience managing multiple projects under the direction of a project management office, and executing both routine and complex planning, administrative and management tasks.
  • While not mandatory, an understanding of ITIL and Active Directory principles, Windows Presentation Foundation, HTML5, jQuery/AJAX and CSS would be advantageous.
  • Technical writing and business requirements documentation experience.
